KIDS BJJ
TAUGHT BY COACH BOBBY
TUESDAY: 4:45PM-5:45PM
TUESDAY: 6PM-7PM
THURSDAY: 4:45PM-5:45PM
THURSDAY: 6PM-7PM
FRIDAY: 4:45-5:45PM
Introduce your child to the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), a martial art focused on ground-based self-defense and grappling. BJJ emphasizes technique over strength, making it an ideal discipline for kids to learn effective self-defense while developing physical fitness and mental discipline, in a supportive and fun environment. Parents unfamiliar with BJJ can rest assured that their child is engaging in a sport that promotes confidence, problem-solving skills, a resilient mindset, and overall well-being.
Our children's classes, suitable for ages 4 to 12, follow a structured format, starting with a lively warm-up game, followed by stretching, then technique instruction and drilling, and concluding with enjoyable games to keep them engaged and having fun.
The 4:45pm classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are most suitable for the 4 to 7 age range. We suggest children 8 to 12 attend at 6pm when possible. The Friday kids class has an open age range (4 - 12).
All regular members are required to attend wearing a BJJ gi (traditional kimono uniform). We have gis and white belts for sale, or you are also welcome to bring your own or purchase these items elsewhere. New students just starting out with their Free Trial or first few classes are welcome to attend in regular gym clothes, such as a t-shirt and sweat pants. Please visit our FAQ page or contact us for more information if you have questions about uniforms.
Kids can train with us one, two, or three days a week, according to your family’s preference and schedule. Classes can be reserved up to two weeks in advance and children may start any time of the year. Find more info about our registration process, membership options, and uniforms on our FAQ and Membership pages. Please contact us if you have any other questions; we’d love to hear from you.
